Les Choristes

I've been ignoring this blog for nearly a month! Sorry readers. Huhuhu.

On the 1st August, we watched a French movie called Les Choristes (The Chorus)

In my point of view, this movie is more or less the same as the German movie I watched a couple of weeks before this, "das fliegende Klassenzimmer (The Flying Classroom)" [My Deutsch teacher made us go and watch it!!]. The story is about a group of boys who are studying in a correctional school, called Fond de L'Etang. Clement Mathieu is a new supervisor in that school. He arrived with an enthusiasm but what he doesn't know that the boys in the school are troubled boys.

He arranged a choir group so that he can control their naughtiness. Bit by bit, the boys became attached to him. Even Morhange, 'the angel face' (who, by the way, has an angelic voice!!) has liked him...

The principle of the school is a strict man. His motto is "Action, reaction". He treats the kids like they are in a military camp.

From this movie, I learned that we can't treat other people badly. There are other ways to bend the naughty boys, and Mathieu has proved it. This is a must-watch movie. :D
