Syariah Law as Malaysia's Law?

Can it really be implemented? Let's see the definition of syariah law. Syariah is the dynamic body of Islamic religious law. The term means "way". It is the legal framework within which the public and some private aspects of life are regulated for these living in a legal system based on Muslim principles of jurisprudence.

It deals with many aspects of day-to-day life, including politics, economics, banking, business, contracts, family, sexuality, hygiene and social issues. It's divided into 2 sections:
a) The acts of worship
b) Human interaction

However, most people - when mentioned about Syariah Law - only think about marriage and hudud, and they fear hudud the worst.

In my opinion, we still need the common law. Maybe we can implement Syariah law in banking, economics, business and others related, but not in every aspect of life. Not yet, at least.
